How to Get Large and Small Foundations to Say “Yes”

Videos

MI NFC videos were developed mainly to help nonprofits that do not have resources to secure outside fundraising assistance. While many larger nonprofits – those with revenues of over $2 million a year – have the financial capacity to access revenue-generating programs like the Georgetown University New Strategies program, most of the nation’s charitable organizations cannot afford this kind of help. MI NFC videos provide free fundraising assistance to nonprofits regardless of size.

MI NFC videos were tested over a year and received strong endorsement from a large number of nonprofit leaders (see Endorsements). Content is based on NFC host Curt Weeden’s two best-selling books (Corporate Social Investing and Smart Giving Is Good Business) and his work with over 2,000 nonprofits that have participated in Georgetown University’s advanced management program for nonprofits. Weeden’s books and articles are regularly referenced by both businesses and nonprofits.

Co-host Tanya Smith-Evans is widely regarded as the nation’s leading expert on “program service-revenue” – funding that nonprofits can secure in addition to charitable giving. Program service revenue is one of the most overlooked funding sources for not-for-profit organizations.

The MI NFC video library is only available through MCSC website.
