home of the Nonprofit Fundraising Channel

The Nonprofit Fundraising Center (NFC) was developed by Curt Weeden – the former Johnson & Johnson vice president who founded the Association of Corporate Citizenship Professionals (now the largest organization of its kind with over 200 corporate members). Weeden also founded the New Strategies Program (now part of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business).

Weeden brings over 40 years of philanthropy experience to NFC. His seven books include three (Corporate Social Investing, Smart Giving Is Good Business, and 6 Pathways to Leadership & Organizational Success) that are “go to” resources for both business and nonprofit leaders. Often cited as the “dean of corporate philanthropy,” check Weeden’s webpage at curtweeden.com.

Weeden co-hosts most of NFC’s 5-minute money-maker videos with Tanya Smith-Evans who also has extensive experience in the grant-making and fundraising fields. Smith-Evans– a senior consultant with Community Wealth Partners — facilitates leadership teams in the private and nonprofit sectors. She has worked in the employment, education, housing, and community development fields.

In addition to implementing executive-level leadership initiatives, Smith-Evans has guided numerous nonprofit organizations through sustainable income strategy assessment and business plan development. Prior to her role at Community Wealth Partners, Smith-Evans worked at A.T. Kearney assisting a range of nonprofit and Fortune 50 clients through the development and execution of operational and strategic improvements. The Nonprofit Fundraising Center (NFC) produces the Nonprofit Fundraising Channel — an online resource open to all not-for-profit managers and especially to organization board members. Our objective: give nonprofits access to specific fundraising options that are proven, practical, and “do-able.” NFC presents a constantly refreshed free menu of revenue-generating concepts all packaged in short (5-minute) videos easily accessible any time day or night.
